Binit is a lawyer with a keen interest in the interplay between law, economics, and technology. Before joining Axiom5, Binit earned his LLM in European Masters in Law and Economics, specializing in Competition Law and acquiring extensive knowledge of European and comparative competition law. His thesis focused on regulation of cartel activities in various jurisdictions. He has also worked with prominent law firms in India and South Korea, building expertise in diverse legal domains including regulatory compliance, taxation issues, SIAC arbitration, real estate disputes, and constitutional litigation. He has appeared before local courts in Bengaluru, the National Company Law Tribunal, High Courts, and the Supreme Court of India. He has also had valuable experience advising inter-governmental organisations on issues pertaining to critical aspects of the digital economy, international trade, and investments.   Binit is an avid writer, regularly contributing to academic journals and news outlets, focusing on competition law, technology regulation, economic analysis of law, and digital trade. He eagerly tracks the developments in competition regulation across the world and the global politics around it.   Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, reading historical fiction, tracking technological innovations and travelling the world.
