Location: New Delhi (in-person).

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

Strong academic credentials: In the final year of an LLB or LLM programme from a reputed law school, or a fresh graduate with an LLB degree.

Relevant experience: Prior work experience or internships in competition law at law firms, think tanks/research organisations or meaningful academic engagement with competition law.

Clear interest in the field: A demonstrable commitment to competition law, whether through prior work, writing, research or academic engagement.

Communication skills: Excellent written and spoken English.

Analytical rigour: Strong analytical, research and writing skills.

Teamwork and initiative: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Organisational skills: Strong attention to detail and adaptable, including working in a hybrid workspace.

Comfort with legal tech: Developing familiarity with technology-enabled software and tools relevant to legal practice.

We will give particular weight to applicants who fulfil the listed qualifications, and in addition, hold an LLM or have demonstrated meaningful academic engagement in competition law.

We encourage only 4th and 5th year students (enrolled in a 5-year integrated course) and 2nd and 3rd year students (enrolled in a 3-year LLB course) with prior academic and professional experience to apply for one-month in-person internships.
We also accept international applicants enrolled in a JD/LLB or equivalent professional law degree with a background/interest in antitrust law/public policy.
We offer a stipend of INR 15,000 to interns, to defray costs associated with the internship.
